Well first day over and done with and it's great :)

Seems my working hours are 8:00 - 16:30 so atleast I get home early :)

My team leader is cool, but he Is based offsite so basically just me and one other guy based onsite. Said other guy is in his late 40's and is cool too.

Had a quick wander round Huddersfield after I finished and some things look the same as when I left almost ten years ago. Tomorrow tho is an excursion to find my old boozer ;)

Decided today to go and take a poke around Tyrannosaurus pets (www.tpets.co.uk/index.php) as i've been looking for prices for a Chile Rose Tarantula :D

Spoke to some dude in the store who was more than helpfull and provided me with a full breakdown of the costs with some options.  He was very honest and told me that himself and the other staff were not experts with tarantula's but did know the basics.  But advised me that as it was to be my first Tarantula then i was looking for the right one.

After him explaining what i will need.  The cost including a glass tank would be about £100 including the spider :) 

Time to save some cash me thinks.

Today me and

[info]mzpurplekittenwent to see Lewi at the stables, Lewi being [info]mzpurplekitten's horse.

 

Getting to the stables at about midday we did all the jobs that needed to be done, muck out, fill hay nets, etc. I was then made aware that I was required to clean Lewi's trough *facepalm* soooo, it's now clean and filled with water which I filled by hand with barrels....yay me :)

So then it was time for

[info]mzpurplekitten to take Lewi out for a ride, again I decided to go for a nice walk with her in an attempt to keep fit :)

All in all a very nice day again up at the stables and much love and carrots to lewi :)

Lewi = massive win. :D
